  • Contribute to the embedded SIL environment for Construction & Forestry teams, ensuring reliability, repeatability, and ease of use for developers and test engineers

  • Develop and maintain embedded build and integration workflows (e.g., Emb32) to support fast iteration and consistent SIL execution

  • Develop and maintain plant models and model interfaces used in SIL, improving fidelity, performance, and configuration management

  • Create and enhance SIL tooling and utilities (including C# applications/services) for scenario setup, execution, logging, and results triage

  • Troubleshoot and resolve SIL environment issues across software, models, and configuration (e.g., build breaks, runtime faults, version mismatches, performance regressions)

  • Partner with embedded software teams, PV&V, and systems/controls engineers to define SIL requirements and prioritize environment and model improvements

  • Maintain documentation, onboarding material, and reference examples so teams can adopt SIL efficiently and consistently

  • Implement quality practices for the SIL environment (source control hygiene, automated checks, CI integration, versioning, and release notes)

  • Collaborate with global stakeholders and suppliers as needed to integrate embedded software and models into the SIL environment

  • Support users of the SIL environment by answering questions, unblocking development, and guiding best practices for efficient debugging and verification

  • Integrate embedded applications, controls, and communication interfaces into SIL to enable functional and regression testing without hardware dependency

  • Maintain and improve the SIL runtime stack, configuration packages, and dependencies (installers, environment setup, and version compatibility)

  • Develop diagnostics and automation around SIL execution (batch runs, nightly/regression pipelines, log parsing, and failure classification)

  • Drive continuous improvement by tracking common pain points, reducing setup time, and increasing SIL stability and model fidelity for product teams
