Embedded Software Engineer- OPAL RT

Test Engineer to support verification of new Energy Storage Systems, previous experience with OPAL RT and electrification are required.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:                 

• Collaboration of test plan development
• Delivery of test results
• Work with team to develop test plans, conduct testing, and document test results
• Collaboration with System Engineers and software developers
• Perform Software HIL bench tests using OPAL-RT
• Write test procedures and reports, and present on test outcomes.
• Evaluate controls features with MIL, SIL and HIL.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, computer engineering, aerospace or other engineering degree with 2+ years’ hands-on experience in the electrification industry.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Ability to work hands on with testing in MIL, SIL, HIL and app.
• Verification and hardware in the loop experience
• Previous experience with OPAL RT and electrification are beneficial skills
• Vector CANape or CANalyzer experience
