Duties & Responsibilities

· Set up of machines including, but not limited to; retrieval of digitized files and loading to machines for embroidery and placing spools of required thread into machines.

· Operation of eight-head and single head embroidery machines

· Hooping garments including, but not limited to; Shirts, jackets, pants, and caps.

· Bagging, tagging, and boxing completed garments for shipping

· Clear and constant communication with owners and other operators regarding production, schedules, and any complications

Qualifications, Skills & Abilities

· Relevant experience of at least two years preferred

· Knowledge and operation of computers

· Adept attention to detail and consistent, reliable performance of tasks

· Ability to multi-task

· Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

· Ability to lift up to 30lbs and be on his or her feet for long stretches of time

· Ability to understand and process written and verbal instruction in English 

Requirements

  Primary responsibilities include:

Please only apply if you have embroidery experience. 

  1.  Receives work orders; prepares garments, hats, and other promotional items for embroidery.
  2.  Sets up six-head embroidery machine for either flat embroidery or for hats.
  3. Transfers digitized files from computer to embroidery machine.
  4.  Performs basic maintenance on the embroidery machine, including threading and oiling of parts.
  5. Matches thread colors with customer-approved designs.
  6. Monitors the embroidery process for accuracy and quality.
  7.  Removes completed items from embroidery machine, trims excess threads, and prepares items for shipment or customer pickup.
  8. Other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
  9.  Help receive and verify custom garments for embroidery. Prep garments for shipment.
