What You'll Do:

•  Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.


• Provide direct patient care and carry out physician orders.


• Prioritize and coordinate care for multiple patients in an emergency setting.


• Collaborate with physicians, EMS providers, and interdisciplinary team members to meet patient needs.


• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.


• Monitor patient conditions and respond quickly to changes in status.


• Assist with departmental quality initiatives and support emergency department operations.


• Serve as a resource and mentor to other team members as needed.

What You'll Need:

• Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program


• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Nebraska


• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, TNCC, PALS


• Previous Emergency Department nursing experience preferred


• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
