Emergency Department Technician

Location: Monticello, Illinois

Shift: Day/evening shift

Schedule: 36 hours/week 3-12 hour shifts 10:00am-10:30pm with rotating holidays and weekends

Job Summary: Assists with patient care based on individual patient needs within the scope of practice under direct supervision of the Registered Nurse.

 Regulatory Requirements:

• High School graduate preferred
•  One (1) year experience in acute hospital setting or in ambulance preferred
• Current BLS Certification.
• Current EMT Certification (preferable).
• Basic arrhythmia course (may obtain within six months of hire).
