Position Overview:

We are seeking qualified medical professionals to serve as interim and as-needed EMS staff. In this role, interim staff will partner with EMS vehicle operators and utilize EMS-provided equipment and supplies to deliver emergency and non-emergency medical services across multiple communities. Interim staff will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care during emergency responses, inter-facility transfers, mutual aid calls, and community standby events (fairs, parades, concerts, marathons, and disaster response).

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to emergency, non-emergency, inter-facility, and mutual aid calls for service.
• Collect all required information for billing purposes.
• Support EMS operations at large-scale events, standbys, and disaster responses.
• Rotate between EMS stations and shifts (up to 60 annually).
• Adhere to EMS Standard Operating Procedures, Treatment Guidelines, and Pharmaceutical Policies.
• Meet periodically/as needed with EMS representatives to ensure collaboration and alignment.
• Perform vehicle responsibilities: wash, clean, restock, inspect, and complete daily vehicle check forms.
• Complete electronic EMS/Medical Reports promptly and maintain HIPAA compliance for records.
• Assist with EMS equipment maintenance and station cleanup when directed.
• Represent EMS professionally while fostering positive relationships in the community.

Qualifications:

• License: Eligible for or hold current certification/licensure in Arizona, New Mexico, or Utah as one of the following:
• Emergency Medical Responder (EMR)
• EMT-Basic
• Advanced EMT
• Paramedic
• Registered Nurse (Inter-facility)
• Required Training/Certifications:
• IS-700: Introduction to NIMS
• ICS-100: Introduction to Incident Command
• ICS-200: Basic Incident Command
• Basic Life Support (CPR)
• Additional Certifications: (for Paramedics and Nurses):
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Soft Skills: Adaptability, crisis management, interdisciplinary collaboration

• 12hr shifts: +$4.00/hr after 6pm
• 24hr shifts: +$5.00/hr midnight-8 a.m./overnight
