EMERGENCY MEDICINE MEDICAL DIRECTOR- Relias Healthcare- Northwest Louisiana

OVERVIEW

Relias Healthcare is seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Medical Director to lead the Emergency Department at a community hospital in Louisiana. This is a leadership opportunity for a board-certified emergency physician ready to drive quality and shape operations in a supportive, collegial environment. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide medical direction oversight for the ED, monitor outcomes, and collaborate with hospital administration on performance initiatives


• Maintain professional and courteous communication with facility and Relias administration and team members


• Assist in the development and implementation of quality improvement and risk management plans for the Emergency Department


• Participate in all meetings required by Relias to satisfy contractual obligations and improve facility operations

REQUIREMENTS

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine preferred; Board certified FM or IM physician accepted


• Previous leadership experience preferred


• Active Louisiana medical license or ability to obtain prior to start

• 17-Bed Emergency Department


• No Trauma Designation


• 24-Hour Physician Coverage


• 12-Hour Shifts


• 10 Hours of APC Coverage


• EMR: Meditech Expanse


• Specialty Services: OB, Peds, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Urology, Nephrology
