• Shifts needed to be filled:

- Aug 2, 7, 15-16, 29

- Sep 26-27

- Oct 8, 22, 31

- Nov 4-5, 25-30

- Dec 24-26, 31

- Jan 1-2, 7-9

• Shift Schedule: 11a-9p

• Patient Volume: 20

• Annual ER Volume: 20,000

• % of total IP admissions received from ED: 8%

• % of ED patients admitted to hospital: 8%

• % of ED patients transferred: 2% per day

• Physician in Practice: Supervising physician is available

• APPs in Practice: 1 FT NP, 2 PRN PAs

• 24-hr Support Services:

- Radiology, Lab, Blood bank

- Pathology, OR, Ortho Surgical Services

• Beds in the Dept: 25

• Trauma Level: IV

• EMR: Cerner

• Other Info:

- Will work autonomously (will see patients by themselves but physician is always present for consultation)

- Not a fast track ED

- ED staff respond to house codes

- ED responsible for monitoring/supervising paramedics/ambulance by radio

- Deliveries Received in ED and patients over 20 weeks w/ abdominal complaints)

- Hospitalist or ED physician writes admissions

- Cardiologists, ED Doctor for in-dept EKG Interpretations

• Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered

Requirements:

• Active MI License

• BC

• DEA

• ACLS, PALS

• Clean record

• Extensive ED experience

• Local Candidate
