Job Description - Emergency Medicine NP/PA

• Shift Schedule: 9a -7p, 9a -9p, 3p -11p
• Patient Demographics: Pediatric to Adult
• Patient Volume:  45
• % of Hospital Admissions from ED: 80%
      - ED Daily Admissions: 6%
      - ED Daily Transfer: 6%
• Physician in Practice: 10
• Total ED Beds: 8
• Other Info:
      - APP will not work autonomously.
      - Supervising Physician present during assignment.
      - APP will not be expected to respond to house codes (Physician only).
      - ED staff respond to house codes.
      - ED responsible for monitoring/supervising paramedics via radio.
      - EKG interpretations performed by a provider.​
      - Deliveries go directly to L&D.
• Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered

Requirements:
• Active MA License
• BC
• ACLS
• NPDB Report
• Min 2 years of ED experience
