Specialty Backup Available: ED Physicians, ED RNs

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
Temporary Privileges Available: Yes
Credentialing Timeline: 30 days, as fast as provider submits documents

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible required
Licenses: Licensed in MI
Certifications: BLS
Other Qualifications: Ability to treat patients of all ages required; proficiency with MediTech EMR

Duties & Responsibilities

Provide emergency department care to patients of all ages during scheduled shifts
Perform initial assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of acute illnesses and injuries
Manage patient admissions averaging 3 per shift
Collaborate with ED physicians and nursing staff
Document encounters accurately in the MediTech EMR
