• Support Staff Available: MD/DO coverage (24 hours), NP/PA coverage (12 hours)

• Reason for Coverage: Staffing need (3 FT MDs required)

• Active Alabama medical license

• BE/BC in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or General Surgery

• Board Certification Accepted: ABEM, AOBEM, ABFM, ABIM, ABPS

• Certifications Required: AL EMS, ACLS, ATLS

• Relevant Emergency Medicine experience

• EMR proficiency (EPIC)

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver high-quality patient care in a busy emergency department

• Collaborate with advanced practice providers and multidisciplinary teams

• Accurately document all encounters using EPIC

• Participate in orientation and onboarding as needed

• Ensure care aligns with current emergency medicine standards and protocols
