JOB OVERVIEW

• Job Title: Emergency Medicine Physician

• Service Setting: Emergency Department

• Clinical Shift Schedule: 12-hour shifts (7 AM – 7 PM, 7 PM – 7 AM)

PATIENT INFORMATION

• Patient Demographics: All Ages

• Patient Volume: ~13,500 annually

• Admissions: Yes

• Case Mix: General emergency cases

FACILITY INFORMATION

• Staffing Model – Physician: 24-hour MD coverage

• Staffing Model – NP/PA: 10-hour NP/PA coverage (11 AM – 9 PM)

• Shift Times:

- Physicians: 7 AM – 7 PM / 7 PM – 7 AM

- NP/PA: 11 AM – 9 PM

• EMR System: EPIC

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

• Hospital Privileges Required: Yes

• Temporary Privileges Available: Emergency temps may be requested

• Credentialing Timeline: Expedited locum privileges available

• Licensing: Active IN license
• Peer References: 3 required

• DEA

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• Hourly Rate: TBD

• Travel & Lodging covered

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• ABEM-Certified Physicians: No additional life support certifications required

• IM/FM Physicians: ACLS required
