Emergency Medicine Physician

The Emergency Medicine Physician provides immediate evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients presenting with acute illness, injury, or medical emergencies across all ages. This role requires rapid clinical decision-making, procedural expertise, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, lifesaving care.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assess, stabilize, diagnose, and treat patients with emergent and urgent medical conditions
* Perform emergency procedures including airway management, intubation, suturing, fracture reduction, and central line placement
* Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as labs, imaging, and ECGs
* Manage trauma, cardiac, neurologic, respiratory, and infectious emergencies
* Coordinate care with consultants, nursing staff, EMS, and ancillary services
* Provide patient education, discharge planning, and appropriate follow-up instructions
* Document care accurately and comply with quality, safety, and regulatory standards

Must maintain state certification and/or licensure
