Case Mix: Standard emergency department cases

Support Staff Available: 24-hour APP coverage; dual physician coverage 7a-2a; single coverage 2a-7a

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

Hospital Privileges Required: Yes

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

Standard emergency department procedures (e.g., intubation, central line placement, laceration repair)

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Board: Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM)

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide emergency medical care to patients presenting to the emergency department.
Perform standard emergency department procedures.
Collaborate with APP and physician coverage team to ensure patient care.
Manage single coverage period from 2a to 7a during overnight shifts.
Maintain ABEM certification and adhere to clinical protocols.
