Job Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to diverse patient populations in a modern emergency department setting
• Diagnose and treat acute illnesses, injuries, and medical emergencies with strong procedural competency
• Collaborate effectively with Advanced Practice Providers, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Utilize Cerner EMR and Dragon voice recognition systems for efficient patient documentation
• Manage emergency department patient flow and ensure quality patient outcomes
• Perform emergency procedures including but not limited to intubations, central lines, and laceration repairs
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with emergency medicine best practices

Job Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine with emergency department experience
• Active Florida Medical License or eligibility to obtain licensure
• Current certifications in ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• Emergency Medicine experience strongly preferred
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR system and experience managing diverse emergency cases
• Strong procedural skills and clinical decision-making abilities
• Adaptable, patient-focused personality with excellent collaborative skills
• Commitment to delivering high-quality emergency care in a community hospital setting
