Position Overview:

PCR is seeking board-certified or board-eligible Emergency Medicine physicians to join a high-volume, fully staffed Emergency Department in Waco, TX. Located on a comprehensive medical campus and serving as a certified stroke and chest pain center, this ED offers excellent specialty backup, supportive leadership, and a strong APP team. This is a W-2 employed position offering long-term stability and lifestyle balance in a growing Texas community.

Emergency Department:

• ED Volume: 54,000 annual visits

• ED Beds: 51

• Patients per Hour: 2

• Admission Rate: 18%

• Coverage Model: 10-hour shifts with 50–60 hours of physician coverage and 30–40 hours of NP/PA coverage per day

• Designations: Certified Stroke and Chest Pain Center

• EMR: Epic

• Qualifications:

o BC/BP in Emergency Medicine

• Base Compensation: $255/hr

• Sign-On Bonus: $60,000

• CME/BEA: Annual allowance
