Clinical Emergency Department Nurse Manager (RN)

Essential Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate all clinical operations during designated shifts in our fast-paced Emergency Department
• Drive quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with healthcare standards
• Supervise and mentor nursing staff while maintaining optimal patient care standards
• Implement and monitor evidence-based clinical protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes
• Manage resource allocation and staffing requirements
• Oversee patient care documentation and quality metrics
• Facilitate ongoing staff education and professional development

Required Qualifications:

• Current RN license in Tennessee or compact state
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Minimum 3 years RN experience (Emergency, ICU, or Psychiatric care)
• Minimum 1 year Emergency Department experience
• Current BLS certification from American Heart Association
• ACLS and PALS certification (or obtained within 1 year)
• Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification (or obtained within 6 months)
• Demonstrated leadership and clinical decision-making abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Nursing (MSN)
• Trauma center experience
• Previous Charge Nurse experience
• Emergency Nursing Certification (CEN)
