Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality nursing care to patients in the emergency room.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Document all patient care activities in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in the state of Iowa or a valid multistate/compact license.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required.
• Iowa Mandatory Reporter Child and Dependent Adult Abuse Certificates (must be obtained upon hire).
• Strong critical-thinking and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in high-stress situations.
