Pay Range: $30.60 – $45.90 per hour (based on experience)

• Midpoint (10 years): $38.25/hour

• Night Differential: +$4.25/hour

Sign-On Bonus:

• $10,000 – Days

• $15,000 – Nights

Overview

A 140+ bed acute care hospital in Lake City, Florida is seeking experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses (ER RN) to join a high-performing Emergency Department team.

This hospital is an Accredited Primary Stroke Center, Accredited Chest Pain Center, and holds Disease-Specific Certification for Sepsis. The ER RN will deliver high-quality, patient-centered emergency care in a fast-paced acute care environment serving Columbia and surrounding counties.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care using evidence-based practice.

• Assess, monitor, and reassess patients, including pain management and response to interventions.

• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as ordered.

• Document all care accurately and timely in the electronic medical record.

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate emergency care.

• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.

• Anticipate patient needs and respond promptly in critical situations.

• Advocate for patient safety and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

Required

• Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher

• Minimum 1 year of acute care Emergency Room RN experience

• BLS (within 30 days of hire)

• ACLS (within 30 days of hire)

• PALS (within 30 days of hire)

Preferred

• BSN

• Experience in high-volume Emergency Department settings
