Emergency Room RN - FT Nights

Join Mission Community Hospital as a full-time Night Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) in Panorama City, CA. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced emergency setting, ensuring patient safety and comfort during critical moments. Your expertise and compassion will be essential in delivering exceptional care to a diverse patient population during overnight shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and deliver timely nursing interventions in the emergency room setting.


• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and assist with emergency procedures as needed.


• Collaborate effectively with physicians, healthcare team members, and ancillary staff to provide coordinated care.


• Document all patient care activities accurately and promptly in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.


• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized work environment to support optimal patient outcomes.


• Respond quickly and efficiently to emergencies and communicate critical information clearly.

Requirements

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.


• Minimum of 1 year experience working in an emergency room or acute care setting preferred.


• Ability to work overnight shifts consistently (FT Nights).


• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.


• CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.


• Ability to handle high-stress situations with professionalism and composure.
