Join Our Team as a Per Diem Emergency Veterinarian at Friendship Hospital for Animals!
Are you a dedicated and compassionate emergency veterinarian looking to make a significant impact in veterinary medicine? Friendship Hospital for Animals is excited to announce the expansion of our emergency services. We are seeking skilled emergency veterinarians to join our team and help us elevate the standard of care for our beloved animal patients on a part-time or Per Diem basis.
Daytime weekday per diem pay is $2400/12-hour shift, or $200/hour. Daytime weekends and overnight per diem pay is $3000/12-hour shift or $250/hour.

Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency veterinary care to animal patients.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
- Mentor and work closely with small animal rotating interns.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners about treatment options, procedures, and expected outcomes.
- Participate in clinical research and contribute to the advancement of veterinary medicine.
Qualifications
- DVM or equivalent degree.
- Experience in emergency veterinary medicine.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Dedication to compassionate patient care and client education.
