Location: Rochester, NY / Buffalo, NY / Albany, NY

Work arrangement: Hybrid - This is a hybrid role with approximately 50% in-office expectation over a year, measured on trust.

Compensation: $139K - $192K base

Experience: 4 - 10 years

Bar admission: Active admission in any US state

What you'll do

• Design and draft qualified retirement plans.


• Advise plan sponsors on ERISA compliance and audits.


• Implement SECURE Act changes and regulatory updates.


• Collaborate on M&A benefits diligence and plan integration.

What you bring (required)

• Substantive employee benefits law firm experience.


• Focus on retirement plans and qualified plan work.


• Plan-sponsor-side counseling or transactional experience.


• Active bar admission in any US state.


• Expertise in ERISA qualified plan compliance.


• Strong legal drafting and written communication.
