Gerresheimer Peachtree City L.P. was established in 1993 in Peachtree City, GA, as part of the Plastics & Devices Division manufacturing and assembling a variety of precision molded plastic parts for various applications in the medical industry. The subsidiary operates in an 132 K sq. ft. production facility with 200 employees. 

The Employee Measurer plays a key role in supporting Gerresheimer’s quality assurance process by performing dimensional inspections on both incoming purchased parts and internally produced components. This role involves operating measuring equipment, assisting with machine maintenance, and ensuring all work complies with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate measuring equipment in accordance with work instructions and quality procedures

• Perform or assist with maintenance activities on machines as needed

• Update technical drawings to reflect dimensional changes

• Conduct in-process and self-inspections to ensure part quality and accuracy

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Education & Experience

• Completion of a technical vocational training program (e.g., Toolmaker) – minimum 3 years

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in quality or measurement roles within injection molding or a similar production environment

Technical Skills

• Proficient in operating and programming standard measuring machines

• Knowledge of common measurement methods and the ability to create measurement reports

• Strong technical understanding and craftsmanship

• Competent in reading and updating technical drawings

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP systems

• Familiarity with injection molding processes and machinery

• Understanding of basic quality control methods

Methodological & Problem-Solving Skills

• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail

• Ability to identify potential risks and escalate when necessary

• Capable of working within standardized problem-solving frameworks and instructions

Communication

• Clear and informative communication style (primarily one-way)

• Basic argumentation and documentation skills

Working Conditions:

• Primarily works in a production/manufacturing environment.
• Requires standing for extended periods and occasional lifting of moderately heavy materials.
• May involve exposure to noise, dust, and manufacturing equipment.
