Employee Relations (HR) Manager


Wage Range: $80,000-90,000


The Employee Relations (HR) Manager leads and supports all human capital functions for Jaybird Senior Living, including grievances, employee relations, payroll, benefits, accommodations, and leaves of absence. This role partners with the Executive Team, Operations, and Executive Directors to drive HR strategy, ensure compliance, and foster a positive workplace culture.


What You’ll Do:



  • Advise leaders on employee relations, performance, and policy matters.

  • Investigate and resolve employee concerns while ensuring legal compliance.

  • Deliver trainings and keep handbooks, policies, and job descriptions up to date.

  • Manage HRIS and payroll processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

  • Oversee compensation, benefits, and compliance documentation.

  • Handle LOA, FMLA, and ADA processes.

  • Partner with leadership on recruiting, onboarding, and terminations.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with HR vendors and represent the company in hearings as needed.


What We’re Looking For:



  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.

  • 5+ years of HR experience; healthcare or senior living experience preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of employment and labor laws.

  • Proficiency with HRIS, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office.

  • High emotional intelligence, organizational skills, and ability to build trust across all levels.
