Job Title: Employee Training Specialist
Location: Goodwill North Central Texas --- 4200 Airport Freeway, Fort Worth, Texas
Work Hours: Full Time – 8:00 am start time, Monday through Friday
Salary: Based on Experience

General Job Duties: Employee Training: Primary point of contact for designing learning paths and creating on demand training content hosted within the Goodwill NCT Learning Management System (LMS) which is appropriate for all employees, Agency wide, or in fulfillment of CARF accreditation training standards. Upon request, provide access and training within the LMS to designated departmental personnel who are assigned the responsibility of building and deploying training for their specific departments. Design and develop employee training in both instructor-led and online (video) formats to meet business needs such as compliance, management, leadership, soft skills, etc. Review and make recommendations for improvements to existing curriculums. Edit audio and video to meet needs of training modules within Brainshark and other training related software. Monitor, analyze and report employee learning and development activities across LMS, UKG, JotForm, and other reporting systems, providing actionable insights and maintaining accurate training records to support organizational performance, compliance, and talent development initiatives. Coordinate efforts related to the Grow with Goodwill Interest Form, ensuring timely follow-up, participant engagement, and alignment with workforce development initiatives. Support management development through efforts such as new manager training and LMS initiatives, including coordination of on demand content and manager toolbox content.
Goodlife Program Support: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of effective employee intervention services (physical, social, cultural, and other livelihood needs such as transportation, food, and shelter). Assist with conducting work site visits to promote employee programs and resources available in peak volume times, and/or upon supervisor request. Visits may require attendance at department huddles and/or departmental meetings. Make appropriate referrals to employees in need of Goodlife Services or case management, and ensure all services are tracked and reported accurately within CaseWorthy. Provide support as needed with GoodLife events and wellness initiatives such as Angel Tree and back-to-school supplies programs.
Employee Leaves & Benefits Support: Be knowledgeable of policies, procedures, and legislative regulations related to employee leaves and accommodations in order to direct employees to appropriate policies and processes. Provide information to employees on leave and/or accommodation policies, processes, and required forms. Refer employees and managers to appropriate HR personnel for evaluation of eligibility or navigating complex leave or accommodations scenarios. Upon request, assist with departmental annual enrollment efforts.
Other Administrative HR Support: Other duties as assigned, including but not limited to backing up other functions within the HR department such as front desk support.
Skills/Qualifications: Previous work experience in employee training or Human Resources is required. Experience working with individuals in crisis or livelihood issues is a plus. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Education, Communications or related field is highly preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint) is required. Experience with eLearning Authoring tools (Ex. Brainshark, LMS) and instructional design skills or video/audio editing are highly desirable. Dynamic, engaging, and professional presentation style is required. Must possess excellent customer service, attention to detail, strong written/oral communication skills, and the ability to work with individuals who are disabled/disadvantaged. Bilingual is a plus.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions: Office environment and periodic travel required to outlying locations. Provide own transportation for travel to off-site locations. This position requires the incumbent to have communication capabilities, via cell phone and/or Smartphone technology.
Legal Requirements: Documentation to satisfy I-9 requirements and ability to pass background check and drug screen.
