Compensation: $180K - $225K base

This is a Counsel-level opportunity for an Employment Attorney to join a thriving boutique firm, advising startups, venture-backed companies, and M&A clients. The position offers significant autonomy, direct client engagement, and a supportive culture.

What you'll do

• Serve as primary or supporting counsel on complex employment matters.


• Draft, review, and negotiate employment agreements and restrictive covenants.


• Advise clients on multi-state workforce compliance obligations.


• Manage a client portfolio directly, delivering proactive legal advice.


• Conduct employment law diligence for acquisitions and financings.

What you bring (required)

• Experience practicing employment law at a law firm.


• Active bar admission in any US state.


• Strong command of employment law in the M&A context.


• Ability to work independently and manage a client portfolio.


• Experience advising on M&A employee transitions.
