Employment Service Coordinator

Job purpose

Help participants find, secure and keep meaningful jobs in the community.

Duties and responsibilities

 Set up transportation for newly employed participants.

 Make sure notes and attendance are completed and correct.

 Review employment participants on the 1 st and 16 th of the month, with 2 follow-ups.

 Keep an updated list of work sites for employed participants.

 Keep an updated cost analysis for each participant receiving transportation.

 Schedule transportation with Shore Transit, Cash Cab, etc. each week.

 Purchase tickets for Shore Transit riders.

 Collect invoices from all transportation services and turn into Bookkeeper.

 Document participant transportation costs in iCare.

 Collect paystubs and submit them to the Bookkeeper for the prior month by the 5 th of

each month.

 Act as a liaison between Job Coaches and Compliance to make sure services are in

attendance and care tracker.

 Take participants to and from work on day transportation falls through or is not

scheduled; this could include evenings or weekends.

 Help Job Coaches with participant work training days; this could include evenings

and weekends.

 Ensure Job Coaches have proper access to participant notes and attendance.

 Develop weekly schedule for Job Coaches.

 Attend weekly employment team meetings.

 Act as a back-up for PCP meetings if Job Coaches are unable to attend.

 Act as a liaison between SCS and DORS when we become a vendor.

 Reach out to new businesses and add them to Employer Leads in iCare.

 Complete state data survey twice a year.

 Keep a caseload of participants for employment services.

Qualifications

 High School Diploma

 Must be able to pass a background check

 Valid Driver’s License
