As an Employment Specialist, youâll help individuals with barriers to employment find meaningful work, build relationships with local employers, and support people as they take real steps forward in their lives.
This role is perfect for someone who doesnât want to sit behind a desk all dayâyouâll spend the majority of your time out in the community, making connections and creating opportunities.
What Youâll Be Doing
This is a fast-paced, people-centered role where no two days look the same.
You will:
Support a caseload of up to 30 individuals actively seeking and maintaining employment while helping them identify goals, strengths, and opportunities
Connect with local employers weekly to develop job opportunities tailored to your clients
Spend ~60â65% of your time in the community (job sites, resource fairs, partnership offices/meetings, etc.)
Provide ongoing support to help clients maintain continuous employment for 6 months.Â
Document services and progress in a timely and organized way

Have experience in mental health, social services, case management, or workforce development
