Goodwill Industries of Mid-Michigan is looking to fill a full-time
Employment Support Specialist in the Flint area.

 $16.00 an hour

Essential duties and responsibilities:

Develop and support employees for promotions, work satisfaction, and retention purposes.

• Work with managers in identifying and coordinating enhanced training for associates to promote growth and remediate performance challenges.
• Assist in onboarding efforts to meet new employees and offer support and assistance for job retention and growth.
• Coach and promote personal growth for each individual to reach quality standards.
• Assist employees with barriers to allow for highest levels of achievement both personally and
  professionally.
• Connect employees with resources designed to reduce financial hardships.
• Travel to local GW locations to work with employees.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• At least 6 months working in Customer Service, Retail or Production.
• Must be proficient in the use of computers and using Microsoft Office.
• Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, a safe driving record, and car
  insurance.

• Dependable, tactful, resourceful, takes initiative and demonstrates good judgment.
• Personable, approachable, compassionate, ability to maintain confidentiality, critical thinker, good decision maker and self-driven.
• Has excellent communication skills
