Employment Verification Specialist - with Great Benefits

We are seeking an experienced Employment Verification Specialist for a client in the Chesterfield Mo area. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and possess strong communication skills. The Employment Verification Specialist will be responsible for verifying employment histories, contacting previous employers, and ensuring the accuracy of employment-related information.

Position Title: Employment Verification Specialist

Location: West St. Louis County

Pay Rate: $17/hr. (Temp to Hire)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough employment verification checks by contacting previous employers via phone, email, or other approved methods.
• Verify job titles, dates of employment, salary information, and other relevant details provided by job applicants.
• Document verification results accurately and maintain detailed records of all communications and findings.
• Communicate with employers, HR departments, and other relevant parties to gather necessary information and resolve discrepancies.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and compliance standards while performing verification activities.
• Provide timely updates and reports to management regarding verification status and any issues encountered.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and accurate completion of verification tasks.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree (preferred but not required)
• Previous experience in employment verification, background screening, or related field preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other relevant software tools.
• Knowledge of employment laws and regulations preferred.
• Customer service-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
