Enclosure Foreman Construction & Fabrication

Our client is seeking an experienced Enclosure Foreman to lead daily operations within the Enclosure Department. This role oversees production activities, ensures safety compliance, manages a team of employees and contractors, and supports the successful completion of enclosure‑related construction or manufacturing projects. Occasional off‑site work may be required.

Requirements:

• Recruit, train, mentor, and support team members.
• Support project planning, workflow, and production timelines.
• Maintain quality standards and ensure work meets specifications.
• Resolve conflicts and maintain strong communication across teams.
• Enforce all safety rules and maintain a safe working environment.
• Lead and supervise enclosure production activities to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.
• Create and manage daily/weekly work schedules for employees and contractors.
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings and communicate requirements clearly.

Qualifications (Must-Haves)

• Valid Iowa electrical license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year in a leadership or foreman role.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and support team members.
• Proficiency with hand tools and measurement tools.
• 5+ years of experience in construction or manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Physical ability to perform required tasks (lifting up to 40 lbs., climbing, crouching, standing, etc.)

Nice-to-Haves:

• Knowledge of OSHA and safety best practices.
• Experience recruiting, hiring, and training employees.
• Prior experience supervising enclosure fabrication or installation.
• Familiarity with construction/manufacturing scheduling or field‑management tools.

Work Environment:

• Occasional outdoor work (wind, precipitation)
• Frequent standing, climbing, kneeling, and lifting.
• Exposure to loud noises, drilling, cutting, and typical production hazards.
