End of Line Packaging Associate

Job Summary: Ninth Planet Beverage Solutions is seeking an End of Line Packaging Associate to join our shipping and receiving team. As a very important part of our production process, the End of Line Packaging Associate will be responsible for the stacking cases of canned beverages onto pallets, and getting shipments ready for customers. This role requires a fast-paced work ethic and the capability to lift 50 lbs consistently throughout a workshift.  This is a physical position.

Position: Full-Time

Work location: Saratoga Springs

Schedule: Tuesday-Friday, 9am to 8pm (with a 1 hour lunch)

Wage: $17.00 or higher depending on experience

Core Responsibilities include:

• Packaging and Palletizing: Take filled cases of cans and palletize and stack them according to standard procedures, ensuring accurate labeling and proper documentation.


• Monitoring the depalletizer and shrinkbundler to ensure equipment is always loaded and ready during production.


• Prepare, stage and load packaging material and dry cans for production.


• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse by regularly sweeping, dusting, and removing debris to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.


• Participate in the end of day clean up.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.


• Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment is preferred.

Skills and Abilities

• Must be able to lift, push, pull and manipulate 50 lbs repeatedly on a daily basis, and stand for duration of shift


• Mental and physical capability of working consistently on a repetitive task


• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Willingness to learn and apply new skills.


• Reliable and timely.


• Forklift experience is a plus, but not required.


• Passion for the craft beverage industry and transferable skills are valued.
