Cedar Park Med is a trusted healthcare staffing provider, connecting skilled medical professionals with top-tier healthcare facilities. We are currently seeking experienced Surgical Technologists to join a Level 1 Trauma Center in Upstate NY.

Shift: Days, 8hrs

***Hiring for both local and traveler positions! 📍 Only candidates outside a 50-mile radius qualify for traveler roles. Rates vary based on experience and whether the position is local or traveler.***

• 
  

  Assist physicians during Endoscopy procedures, with a focus on advanced endoscopic interventions (ERCPs, EUS, POEMS, etc.)

• Welcome and prepare patients for procedures, including ID confirmation and positioning



• 
  

  Set up and verify proper functioning of all equipment, instruments, and supplies

  
  


• 
  

  Assist with room turnover, supply restocking, and equipment checks between cases

  
  


• 
  

  Collect, label, and deliver specimens obtained during procedures

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain and troubleshoot endoscopy equipment; coordinate with Clinical Engineering and request loaners as needed

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure compliance with hospital standards, procedures, and policies

  
  

• 
  

  Minimum 2 years of experience in an Endoscopy Tech role

  
  


• 
  

  At least 1 year of experience assisting with Advanced Endoscopic Procedures (ERCPs, EUS, POEMS etc)

  
  


• 
  

  Proficiency with Olympus Endoscopes and Endoscopy-related ultrasound equipment

  
  


• 
  

  Endoscopy Tech certification preferred (not required)

  
  


• 
  

  Experience with ProVation MD Software is a plus

  
  


• 
  

  High school diploma or equivalent required

  
  


• 
  

  BLS certification required

  
  


• 
  

  ACLS certification preferred
