As an Endobariatric Awareness Representative (EBAR), you\u2019ll play a vital role in expanding awareness and education around Endobariatric therapy. In this field-based role, you\u2019ll collaborate closely with Endobariatric and referring physicians, clinicians, and office staff to promote understanding of Endobariatric procedures, appropriate patient identification, and best practices for screening. You\u2019ll also partner with our Regional Endobariatric Manager and marketing team to drive success across three core areas: procedure education, resource education, and referring physician outreach. This EBAR will primarily support the greater Los Angeles, CA area.\n\nYour responsibilities will include:\n\n * Coordinate and partner with REM in growing Boston Scientific\u2019s Endobariatric business in targeted centers to ensure Boston Scientifics sales targets are achieved.\n * Assist physicians and office staff with patient identification, patient screening, and patient education resources.\n * Work to enroll practices, physicians, and patients in the Boston Scientific Patient Access Support Program.\n * Serve as the primary Boston Scientific field coordinator of Direct to Patient Programs that are administered in the assigned geography.\n * Educate on Endobariatric therapies to medical practice personnel that manage obese patients (weight management clinics, cardiology, internal medicine, fertility, OB-GYN, orthopedics, and general \u0026 family practice) with the goal of increasing therapy awareness and patient referrals for Endobariatrics.\n * Connect physicians and practices who refer obese patients with Endobariatric Programs by coordinating peer-to-peer events.\n * Develop physician and office champions for patient referrals. \n * Meet with hospital marketing department, media relations and/or physician liaisons of each targeted hospital facility to educate on Endobariatric service line.\n\n\n\nRequired qualifications:\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree\n * Minimum of 2+ years of work experience in a relevant discipline\n * Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships\n\n\n\nPreferred qualifications:\n\n * Program development and/or market development experience\n * Experience working in bariatrics\n * Obesity therapeutics experience\n * Pharmaceutical launch experience\n * Strong written and verbal communication skills\n * Experience collaborating within teams and demonstrating leadership skills\n * Proven success working in a fast-paced matrixed environment\n\n\n\nRequisition ID: 627011\n\nInitial minimum compensation for this position is anticipated to start at $105,000.00 inclusive of annualized base salary, certain guarantees, and other non-discretionary performance-based incentives. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, and other relevant business considerations or organizational needs.
