Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) Technician - GI Lab PRN Days

Work location\: Texas Health Denton - 3000 I-35, Denton, Texas 76201

Work hours\: PRN and require a minimum commitment of one day per week, from 6\:30AM to 5\:00PM. We would prefer coverage on Fridays; however, the schedule is negotiable.

Here’s What You Need

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 1 year of GI clinical experience required
• Previous ERCP experience preferred
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care required upon hire and maintained quarterly
• A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.

What You Will Do

• Collects patient data, identifies and reports significant findings to nurse.
• Performs technical procedures safely and proficiently.
• Takes action to reduce or eliminate patient risk.
• Documents accurately and appropriately.
• Assists in admission/transfer/discharge.
• In collaboration/consultation with nurse, adapts care to reflect age-specific and developmental considerations.
• Supports and meets regulatory requirements.
