Endpoint Desktop Operations Specialist

Leidos Corporate is looking for an Endpoint Desktop Operations Specialist to join our Services Enterprise Infrastructure team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing desktop SCCM operational support of our current employees (~38,000) across the organization.

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide operational support to the Endpoint Operations team, including troubleshooting and technical support to Tier II Desktop Support Techs related to OS/Image/Package failures.

Work collaboratively with the team on scheduling software deployments of SCCM packages.

Internal testing of SCCM packages, Microsoft and 3rd Party patches.

Troubleshoot any SCCM client and deployment issues, create SCCM custom queries and reports.

Create SCCM collections and set up deployments.

Test and support the Windows Image in collaboration with Engineering team.

Test and troubleshoot software deployments via Microsoft SCCM,

Support automated desktop software deployments including but not limited to creation of automated software installation packages, device OS imaging, application / OS conflict resolution, and log file analysis.

Image testing support to include: Testing drivers against new PC models; Creating, testing, validation of driver packages; testing of software packages against images.

Troubleshoot issues through reproducing the problem, doing root cause analysis and determining resolution.

Create and update documentation for IT supported services and applications.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with 2-4 years of experience with enterprise level OS and application deployment and management systems such as Microsoft SCCM / Endpoint. Additional years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Advance knowledge of Desktop Operating systems Windows 10/11, Mac OS, and Linux

Excellent verbal and communication skills

Knowledge of SCCM Deployment

Knowledge of effective workstation Quality Assurance testing procedures

US citizenship is required and able to obtain security clearance as needed

Qualifications:

Strong sense of self-motivation, organization, and attention to detail

Strong analytical skills

Strong understanding of enterprise antivirus solutions, endpoint data protection and encryption, VPN, Wireless Access, printers & peripherals.

Familiarity with NIST Compliance requirements

Pay Range:

Pay Range $65,000.00 - $117,500.00
