Energetics Engineer

We have an exciting opportunity for an Energetics Engineer to join our team in Michigan. We are seeking a candidate with subject matter expertise in the development and qualification of aerospace-related pyrotechnic and energetic components, such as gas generators, initiators, and igniters.

The Energetics Engineer will be responsible for:

• Creating requirements, specifications, and verifying compliance throughout the product life cycle

• Interpreting applicable regulations, requirements, and safety standards

• Designing, analyzing, and supporting the manufacturing of components and propellants

• Planning, executing, and analyzing development and qualification testing

• Preparing, documenting, and communicating test plans and reports

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience developing and qualifying energetic components

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant technical or project management discipline
• Knowledge of requirements verification/validation processes

• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills

• Familiarity with ammunition and explosive certification processes

• U.S. citizenship required

• Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance if needed

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
