Engagement Manager

Join our team: Vapi is a Series “A”  Voice Agent AI start-up revolutionizing the way businesses interact with their customers. We're looking for an experienced Engagement Manager to help drive the adoption of our VoiceAI solutions among our most strategic customers.

About the role:

As our first Engagement Manager, you will play a critical role in building and delivering VoiceAI solutions to our key clients. You will work closely with our field engineering team to scope, plan, and execute projects that bring the future of voice technology to our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Vapi's most strategic customers to bring VoiceAI to production and drive business outcomes

• Own technical and business scoping, kick-off, implementation, project planning, and vision with key stakeholders

• Lead project and customer interactions, ensuring successful delivery and customer satisfaction

• Work closely with field engineering to ensure seamless project execution

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of consulting experience (McKinsey, Bain, BCG, or similar)

• CS or Eng Degree 

• Strong business acumen and commercial awareness

• Excellent communication and project management skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders

Nice to have:

• Experience with AI, voice technology, or software development

• Familiarity with cloud-based solutions and enterprise software

Location:

• San Francisco (ideal) or NYC

• 70% Bay Area / 30% NYC travel (approximately 2-3 trips per month)
