Engineer

Job Purpose

The Engineer will review product specifications for new and existing products and services. You will prepare support plan in accordance with customer and market requirements, and FAA/OEM standards.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Develop test methods on standard or customized equipment specifications


• Maintain and build test equipment for instrument service and repair


• Train team members on proper use of new and existing equipment to meet highest standards


• Determine root causes of failures and recommend changes


• Review product design for manufacturability or completeness


• Test and evaluate components and equipment to determine reliability


• Communicate and facilitate production schedule and process


• Apply new methods for operational improvement

Requirements include:

• 5 years’ engineering work in a manufacturing environment; aviation experience strongly preferred


• Strong computer skills (CAD software, Microsoft Office, Excel)


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills


• Excellent in English written and verbal communication skills


• Ability to work well in self-directed or team environments


• Flexibility to work overtime and/or weekends when needed


• Physical Requirement: sedentary work, may require walking, bending, standing, reaching above shoulder level or below the waist, lift up to 35 lbs

Pay: $40.00/hr
