Engineer I, II, III, IV

Tamayo Federal Solutions, LLC is seeking qualified Engineers (Levels I–IV) to support a range of engineering functions across U.S. Navy programs and operations. These roles involve applying engineering principles to solve complex technical challenges, support system development, and ensure mission success in a defense environment.

Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.

Key Responsibilities

Apply engineering principles to support system design, development, testing, and evaluation.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve technical challenges.

Support lifecycle engineering processes including requirements analysis, integration, and verification.

Contribute to technical documentation, reports, and presentations.

Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards and Navy program requirements.

Preferred Skills

Experience working on U.S. Navy or DoD programs.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Familiarity with systems engineering, test and evaluation, or logistics support.

Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Minimum Qualifications (All Levels)

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in any engineering discipline is required.

Master’s degree in any engineering discipline is preferred.

Clearance: Active Secret Clearance is required for all levels.

Level Minimum Years of Engineering Experience Preferred U.S. Navy Experience

Engineer I - 3 years 3+ years supporting U.S. Navy programs or operations

Engineer II - 7 years 7+ years supporting U.S. Navy programs or operations

Engineer III - 10 years 10+ years supporting U.S. Navy programs or operations

Engineer IV - 15 years 15+ years supporting U.S. Navy programs or operations
