POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Landscaper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the aesthetic appeal and health of all exterior landscaping throughout the property. This role plays a key part in enhancing the guest experience by creating and maintaining a beautiful and welcoming environment. 

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (The following statements are intended as general illustrations of the work in this job class and are not all inclusive for specific positions.)

• Maintain lawns, flower beds, trees, shrubs, rocks, and other landscaping features across all      properties/grounds.
• Edge, trim, prune, and plant as needed all bushes, trees, shrubs, and grass as required      seasonally and periodically.
• Apply pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers safely and in compliance with environmental      regulations.
• Weed mitigation via pre and post emergent sprays, and/or manual removal.
• Monitor and test irrigation systems and make necessary repairs.
• Remove debris, fallen leaves, trash, and snow (seasonal) to ensure roads, walkways and entrances      remain clean and safe.
• Operate and maintain landscaping tools and machinery (e.g., mowers, trimmers, blowers).
• Maintain inventory of parts, supplies, and tools necessary to perform job functions.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations.
• Respond promptly to work orders and maintenance requests from all departments.
• Use heavy machinery to dig up and repair/replace water lines. 
• Some light electrical work, fence repairs, and painting may be required on occasions.

Requirements

Required:

· Knowledge of irrigation systems and repair experience.

· Understanding of local plant species and climate considerations.

· Demonstrated ability to lift heavy objects and materials, stoop for long periods of time, climb, crawl and work effectively in confined areas in varying weather conditions.

· Demonstrated ability to use basic tools for facility repairs and specialty trade.

· Demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision and alone.

· Must be at least 21yrs or over. 

· Maintain a valid Driver’s License and a clean DMV report, operates a company vehicle daily.

· This position requires sufficient experience, education and job knowledge to meet current business needs.

Preferred:

· Boom lift, scissor lift, forklift, backhoe experience preferred.
