We work across global sites and thrive on collaboration, problem\u2011solving, and pushing technical boundaries.\n\nWe\u2019re looking for a Layout Engineer who will play a key role in building high\u2011quality physical designs for our DRAM technologies. You\u2019ll partner closely with logic, STA, and verification teams while shaping layout strategies that balance performance, power, and area. Your work will directly influence product success and team workflows across Micron\u2019s global engineering community.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\n * Develop block\u2011level physical layouts using Synopsys ICC2, including floorplanning, placement, routing, and optimization\n * Apply timing\u2011driven methods and physical constraints such as PDN, pin placement, routing blockages, and hierarchy rules\n * Ensure compliance with DRC, LVS, density, and reliability requirements\n * Support parasitic extraction, post\u2011layout verification, and ECO activities\n * Create partial custom layouts for selected transistor\u2011level or small analog blocks\n\n\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\n * Experience performing physical layout using industry EDA tools (ICC2 or equivalent)\n * Knowledge of timing\u2011driven layout and STA collaboration workflows\n * Familiarity with DRC, LVS, physical verification, and reliability checks\n * Ability to plan, document, and review layout goals with cross\u2011site teams\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * Experience with DRAM, memory circuits, or large\u2011scale hierarchical designs\n * Background in parasitic extraction flows and post\u2011layout optimization\n * Hands\u2011on experience with partial custom layout (devices, small analog blocks)\n * Strong communication skills supporting global engineering collaboration\n\n\n\nJob Profile(s):\n\nLayout/Mask Designer E2\n\nRelocation Level: TBD\n\nBefore Getting Started \nPlease review Micron\u2019s Internal Job Application Policy on your regional PeopleNow Career Opportunities page before searching and applying for jobs.
