Professional Engineer - Municipal and Land Development Projects (NJ PE Required)

We are seeking a Professional Engineer to support a diverse range of municipal and land development projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to play a key role in delivering high-quality engineering solutions to both public and private sector clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical analysis, design, calculations, reports, and cost estimates for a wide variety of projects.
• Typical project types include:
  • Stormwater and utility design
  • Roadway and site grading
  • Water and wastewater treatment facilities
  • Potable water storage systems
  • Water distribution networks
  • Pumping stations and sanitary sewer rehabilitation
• Coordinate and review the work of CAD technicians.
• Review plans and technical reports for submission to Planning and Zoning Boards.
• Lead and contribute to all aspects of design and regulatory permitting processes.

Required Skills & Experience

• Must possess a current New Jersey Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D; experience with HydroCAD and HEC-RAS required
• Experience with water distribution modeling is a strong plus
• Prior use of WaterCAD is a plus
• Demonstrated strength in permitting and regulatory compliance
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
• Self-motivated and dependable, with a proactive problem-solving approach
