Position Overview:

Join a dynamic team managing the design of transmission generation tie lines for cutting-edge renewable energy projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead transmission line projects from conception through construction for wind, solar, and battery energy storage initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage transmission line design projects from early-stage development through commissioning
• Coordinate with engineering consultants and stakeholders
• Develop scope of work and manage bidding processes
• Oversee route development and engineering data collection
• Coordinate deliverables for competitive proposals and construction
• Ensure design quality and compliance with industry standards

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil/Structural Engineering
• 7+ years of direct experience in HV transmission line projects
• Strong knowledge of transmission design principles
• Excellent project management and communication skills
• Technical competency in reading electrical diagrams and plans
• Willingness to travel within North America

Preferred Qualifications:

• PMP and/or P.E. certification
• Proficiency in PLSCADD, AutoCAD, Primavera
• Experience with renewable energy projects
