Engineer Systems/Principal Engineer Systems

Troubleshoot systems to resolve complex issues, interact and coordinate with responsible Subsystems engineers responsible for sustaining subsystems Serve as an interface between the Operations & engineering organization Ensure overall System performance is met and maintained thru the lower level functions/subsystems Perform troubleshooting, document issues and coordinate field replacements/upgrades of any impacted parts Contribute to improvement of processes, design and future sustainment efforts Must be a self-directed technical performer with strong communication skills, demonstrated experience leading multi-disciplinary technical trades, and ability to develop & execute to a strategy Research, design, development, integration, and test of a variety of electronic equipment and systems, including RF datalinks, SATCOM and Communications Networks. Maintaining complex RF communications architectures, systems; circuitry components; analog and digital computers. Perform analysis on Field Facing Integration issues Provide technical recommendations to the SPO Systems Engineer T02: Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline and 2 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master's degree in a STEM discipline and 0 years of related engineering experience. Principal Systems Engineer T03: Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline and 5 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master's degree in a STEM discipline and 3 years of related engineering experience; OR a PhD in a STEM discipline and 1 year of related engineering experience. Must have an interim Secret clearance or higher to be considered and ability to obtain and maintain final DoD Secret Clearance prior to start. Must have ability to obtain and maintain Program Access (PAR) within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs. An active DoD Top Secret Clearance. Experience with RQ-4 air vehicle, ground segment, sensor payloads, and support equipment. Experience supporting Fielded Aircraft Systems. Experience with Line of Sight and Beyond Line-of-Sight communications. Experience with Networking. Experience with USAF customers. Experience with root cause investigations, fielded issue investigation, and operational missions.
