Engineer Technician II

ATL Professional Services, LLC is currently seeking an On-site Engineer Technician II in San Antonio, TX.

This position is in support of wholesale supply chain functions to include:

• The contractor shall receive, examine, determine condition, and verify/validate a wide variety of complex items and materials to be turned in/removed.


• Processes items to the Defense Reutilization and Marketing Office (DRMO).


• Perform complex disposal tasks, such as those required in dealing with reuse, salvage, and demilitarization of a wide variety of complex items and materials.


• Inspects all categories of turn-ins to include Due-In-From-Maintenance (DIFM), equipment, etc.


• Determine items to be demilitarized and serve as a local authority on demilitarization requirements/actions and precious metal recovery.


• Remove sensitive military components from equipment prior to destruction utilizing small tools (GFE such as screwdriver, hammer, chisel, pliers, etc.


• Ensures 100% physical validation/verification of critical information (NSN, qty, CIC, serial number, classification code, document number, etc.) prior to any formal disposal/destruction actions.

The work environment will be in a warehouse setting as well as outside environment duties and requires the employee to lift or move material weighing up to 40 pounds.

The hours of operation are Monday - Friday, 7:00AM to 4:00PM, excluding federal holidays and special organizational days.

Place of performance will be at various locations at Lackland AFB and Port San Antonio, Texas.

Qualification:

• Must have a valid driver's license.


• Must have a high school diploma


• Top Secret clearance


• Subject to random drug testing
