Engineering Intern - Rapid Progression

Job Summary: AerSale Inc is seeking an Intern to be responsible for various tasks and projects to enhance their experience in the field utilizing their education. Provide Support to the Engineered Solutions team under direction and supervision of the engineering manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Complete assigned projects related to the Engineering group.

• Attend meetings and take notes related to current and future projects.

• Work with the engineering solutions department in developing drawing templates.

• Designing tooling 3D CAD models.

• Creating associated drawings & compiling a list of standard drawing notes.

Education and Experience:

• Beginner experience level in the use of SolidWorks is beneficial for the position.

• Course of study in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.

• A course in Engineering Statics is beneficial for the position.

• 3.0 GPA or above

Skills and Abilities:

• Basic knowledge of SolidWorks CAD modelling.

• Knowledge of the use of Microsoft Office programs is recommended.

• Basic knowledge of mechanical design principles.

Physical Requirements:

• Requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk. 

• Must be able to use hands and arms for repetitive movements, such as movement of wrists, hands, fingers while typing.  

• May occasionally be required to lift and carry up to 10lbs.
