Location: Huntersville, NC

Shift: 8-5 M-F

Pay Rate: $18.00 – $38.00

Job Description

Summary

This position will work directly under two engineers supporting the Huntersville facility. This team member will be asked to perform time studies, data entry and analysis, create reports, and establish lean processes. The team member will build communication skills and learn how to relay completely new processes effectively. This position will also support the Huntersville expansion project and be asked to interact with vendors, general contractors and other external resources. At the end of this internship this team member will have experience commissioning new equipment, creating time studies and building expansions.

Responsibilities

Responsible for layout drawings of machines and/or buildings in AutoCad
Responsible for contacting internal and external resources to provide updated and quotes to expansion team.
Responsible for running studies on production lines to understand material capacity.
Responsible for obtaining, vetting and presenting quotes for production equipment.
Support department in obtaining construction permits as it relates to modernization project.
