Engineering Manager, Data Platform

About the Role:

In this role, Leading a team of A+ engineers who are passionate about building highly scalable distributed systems, and contributing to the open-source Apache Pinot software in addition to the following areas:

• Building real-time database/data system internals


• Query engine optimization, compilation, and execution


• Data ingestion, storage, modeling, and indexing services


• Building scalable, low latency, distributed systems


• Creating automation and abstraction self-service tooling

What we’re looking for:

• 8+ years of experience in building / operating distributed systems engineering, 5+ as TLM


• Strong expertise in distributed systems, OLTP and/or OLAP Databases, real-time analytics, or streaming systems.


• Ability to balance technical depth with people leadership and execution management.
