About The Role & Team
The Workspaces team is responsible for the largest surface area in our Analytics product. The team's charter is to build engaging products that increase long term retention. The makeup of the team is 80% frontend, 20% backend. As an engineering manager on this team, you help identify the highest impact initiatives, and find a balance between delivering things quickly and maintaining quality.
As a Software Engineering Manager, you will:

Lead and mentor a team of 6-8 engineers on our middleware/frontend stack
Provide the technical vision for our engagement and retention pillar
Partnering with design and product on building and aligning leadership to a long term roadmap
Promote experimentation and data driven decision making
Have the ability to dive into the code base and architecture and represent the team in high level technical scoping.

You'll be a great addition to the team if you have:

5 years as an individual contributor, 3-5 years of management experience
Proficiency in Javascript, Typescript, Python
Fundamental understanding of front-end technologies and frameworks
Experience leading an experiment driven feature/product team
